Completely disassembled 2.2T engine.
Was running when parked. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) No visible damage on anything so should make a nice core to build a nice little hotrod engine. No idea on price. $5k/obo??? |

Give me the engine serial # please. And if you can, get the casting part #'s from both sides under the oil return tubes; 101.xR and 102.xR the x's are the important part with the 1&2. So you are saying the case has been split?

2.2T has non counterweight crank. Some people prefer that for racing.

That is true.
The non counter weighted crank does spin up faster. However, my original plans for this engine was a 2.4 crank/rods and an E cam. 2.2T pistons have a higher dome than 2.4 pistons so you get a higher compression 2.4E engine. That's what I put in most of my early cars. VERY fun engine. Plus carb heads flow more air than a MFI head. |
