EDIT: planned to post this into the 914WorldGarage and screwed up. Admins please feel free to move.
Had a pair of heat exchangers in a parts stash I picked up. This was a collection of parts from a 73 2.0 and a 76 2.0 (CA smog) car. I was assuming these were from the 76 2.0, but just getting around to fooling with these and noticed the muffler flanges. Just pressure tested just fine with the test kit provided by @bdstone914 (thanks Bruce - shipping these back to you tomorrow along with a little something extra). I have absolutely no need for these and plan to pass them along, but not sure exactly what these are. Anyone help with identification, and a guesstimate on worth? The PO started to fool with some touch ups on them. Not looking to pad the retirement fund, just trying to capture back a bit of my investment in the parts stash and hopefully pass them along to someone here who needs them. Will put them up in the classifieds once I know exactly what they are. |
