I’ve decided to rebuild my car’s original 1.7 with FI. It ingested an exhaust valve which put a hole in a piston.

Everything is apart. Found the crank and cam bearings to be in great shape. Haven’t taken the rods off the crank, but they move smoothly.

Looking at P&C sets not finding much in 90mm. And if I believe rebuilding or replacing the heads will cost about the same if machined for 90mm - 96mm.

What are the pros/cons to increasing bore with a stock 66mm stroke?

Is there a limit to what the stock D-Jet can handle?

I appreciate your collective wisdom.
