- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

I purchased this 1980-83 915 transmission a few years back. The individual I purchased the unit from had bought it as a rebuilt unit without paperwork and had his mechanics (he owned a automotive shop here in Denver) pull the side cover off and reported it
looked nice and clean inside. A couple things I have noticed. The shift rod appears to have been cut and a slight notch is there. I don’t know if this was done to accommodate a cable shifter or something. Also, after pulling on the shift rod and putting it in to gear it makes a noise inside when I turn both output shafts. I’m not a mechanic, know little about transmissions, have no paperwork, So have decided to sell as a very nice core. I would plan on going through the transmission. I purchased and will include in the sale a complete shift rod as well. I will assist in shipping. Please contact for any additional info I might provide. Price 3K plus shipping.  Attached image(s)
