With my past dealings with the local P-dealers (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) they freak when I tell them I need a part for my car. I find it best to just call them and ask if they have this part # in stock.
I need 4 of the 2-bolt header-to-muffler gaskets. Anyone have the actual Porsche part number that fits? Also, anyone have a source for METRIC threaded rod? I messed up one of my linkage pieces (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) I tried the FLAPS but NO metric |

metric threaded rod: how much you need? if not much, get a really long bolt and cut it. for a lot, the usual places - Maryland Metric, McMaster-Carr... if it doesn't have to be really strong and isn't too big, you can get unthreaded rod and a die. |
