160 mph = 257 kmh in aus.
car would be crushed here. sadly. + a very good lawyer to stay out of jail. in the offenders defense, i see some pretty asshat driving here at speeds below the legal limit (strict 110 kmh on interstates). said asshats are too busy doing everything but driving. it would be nice to see a jail sentence for switching on the cruise control and getting your phone out. penalties - phone crushed, offender jailed, car donated to a charity of choice. |
