In the late 60's-70's the Western States ( NM, CO, SD, WY) had unrestricted speed limits. As long as you did not get too stupid and there was not any traffic you could haul ass all day long at a 100 with out any problem.

Montana too ::: Reasonable and prudent Got my first CO license in 1962. Don't remember a time without a speed limit here. |
