I'm in search of a Beach Boys Cabriolet conversion kit, or something similar. I'm new to the 914 world so my knowledge of who offers what is zero.

Is a convertible conversion kit available for these cars?

Not sure if you could find one anymore? Older kit. Did some google searching and didn't find anything new or used.

Beach Boys Racing is also known as Venice Beach Auto Body.

Try giving them a call. Otherwise the cars show up on Craigslist in So Cal, from time to time.

I have the Beach boys racing body kit complete set (no tonneau cover, just the body kit) if you are interested. It's been over 20 years since i purchased the kit new. my 914 project never happened. If you're interested let me know. Here's what the finish kit should look like.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/car-from-uk.com-179-1636858223.1.jpg)

The kit includes:
Left and right steel front fenders
Left and right steel rear quarter panels
Left and right fiberglass rocker panels
Left and right fiberglass rear quarter panel side ducts
Front fiberglass bumper
Rear fiberglass bumper

I can actual pics of the components above if you're interested.

Here's a link to a 914 with the body kit (without the rear side duct)

I do not think you will find any of this still made. owner Bob Farnham sold me 2 DVDs of BB Racing 12 years ago. He was retired in Lake Arrowhead and I do not know how to get in hold of him. Look at his Facebook site and it shows a bit more than you may know
