I volunteer at the Saratoga Auto Museum. Coming soon is an event of air cooled wonderness.

I worked my butt off this week, but it's ready. It's beautiful!

This morning Steven Harris gave some of us a walk through. Yikes. He talked about the cars but smiled more at the 4-cams, fired one up. What an amazing sound. Zero oil pressure below 2k rpm, but quite happy between 5500 & 7500; back in 1958? Dayum.

He isn't just some rich car guy that ignores us around his friends, impressive. He actually drives them, like the 356 he raced through Argentina and Patagonia. Never knew the exhaust exited through the rear deck just for deep water. He still rallies them.

I'm still impressed.

If you can't stop by, it's worth visiting the site once in a while.
