I kept my valve, I cut and welded the mount to clear the valve in the stock location.

There is a difference in hard lines and routing between early and late. I'm sure of it because when I ordered SS brake lines, I recevied the wrong ones. PMB made it right and sent me the proper lines. Great company!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) My mid 73 has an early/late hybrid brake system The ABS regulator ( (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) @Superhawk996 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) ) is an early unit but I had late calipers on the front. I'm pretty confident it rolled out of the factory like that. When I ordered new hard lines from PMB, they had me send a pic of the ABS regulator (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) to determine whether I needed an early or late hard line kit so they sent an early kit Worked great until time to hook up the front calipers and then the hybrid nature appeared. Of course, Eric got the correct front lines to me ASAP for a no cost exchange. I just can't say enough good things about PMB.

Which lines do you need to purchase?

I need to relocate my pressure regulator. I have the bracket I can weld back on, but want to install new lines first.

Can I just buy the two lines and swap sides? one is longer than the other.

Fuzzy picture of Maddog mount:

Not a hard job to relocate ,was easier for me as my car came as a roller with the factory style mount already welded on and the brake pipe to the rear brakes was missing anyway, got a new one made for $10.

Thanks @porshetub I reached out to PMB to see if they have a relocate line set. Thinking just buying stock length lines for say an early 914 would be simple?

@Root_Werks send me a PM, I have the angle, and the 8-12" piece to move them over.

Shea sells an entire SS setup, just need to pick early car to move it over. But if your keeping it steel I have a set just cover shipping.

@914forme , ordered a line set from PMB. Explained what I did, sent my fuzzy picture. I think I'm good. Guess I'll know when I get the lines.
