Built for the IMSA Continental Tire Series, this Cayman has the 2.9 liter engine and 6-speed manual transmission with only 39k original miles. Never raced, 1.25s at Summit Point in 25 lap shakedown session on new Hankooks

Our technical partner for this project was Bodymotion Racing from Ocean, New Jersey, with multiple race wins in the series and over 30 years racing Porsches following their “blueprint” insured a solid finished product without any guess work. The Mosing Racing 2014 and 2017 championship winning car was built by Bodymotion using this blueprint.

Roll cage by Bodymotion
JRZ RS Pro shocks using Bodymotion setup.
Current spring rates for VIR, setup data will be provided.
996 GT2 control arms
TPC adjustable sway bars and adjustable toe links.
996 calipers and Bosch Motorsports M4 ABS control unit.
Full cool suit system, dry-break fuel filler, auxiliary pump out fuel pump, fuel cell foam, full IMSA-spec safety nets, six nozzle fire system and a Motorola Radio.
Moly-coated NASCAR style wheel studs and sixty hardened, coated lugs,
FabSpeed Headers and transmission cooler with pump.

IMSA rules made this car no longer eligible for the pro series but it would be an excellent choice for the American Endurance Racing series, NASA, SCCA STU, HSRA vintage endurance or as a track day car. Has an SCCA STU Log Book
Over $100K in receipts and hours invested, it would be difficult to duplicate for the original asking price of $58K, but just reduced to $53k (make an offer)

This is a rare opportunity to own what is effectively a brand new race car.

The car is currently at our shop at Summit Point Raceway, visit in person on request. Posting some photos now, more available.
