Hi all,
I am having a charging issue maybe someone can shed light on. Subaru conversion 2.0 turbo. New 200 amp alternator New Battery. The car had no charging issue before I did this: I pulled the dash gauge pod recently to install a speed hut GPS speedometer, as the setup it had was in error beyond 65 mph. I had to unplug the tach and the combo gauge to do the job, as you have to trim the metal pod to get the speedo to fit and lock down. I plugged in everything back the way it came out... I hope... I have photos, but the spiderweb of wires can get a little confusing. That being said, my gas gauge, my water temp gauge, my oil pressure gauge and my lights all work. The generator light comes on when the key is on, and once it starts, the light goes out. The E brake warning light works as it should. Problem is I am not charging at the battery. It is running off the battery. Does charging have anything to do with the gauges? That is the only thing I moneyed with that started the problem. Thoughts are appreciated. Thank you. |
