Curious why the blue one is reverse plus 4 forward gears? Weren't all 914s 5 speeds? They lock out first so you don't destroy it. Second through 5th and reverse on most of the V-8 cars that dont have a Boxter S trans. |

I have 914 v8 215ci I may be talked into selling for $12k, it's inspected and drivable just needs some minor TLC. Thanks but I'm looking for something turnkey with all work completed. Nice car and fair price. Should be able to see that easily if you decide to. |

As a 914 v8 guy, I would gravitate heavily towards the blue one. Looks like a rennegade built car that has a lot of drivers mods, meaning it sees a lot of road use. Very good sign.
Factory 901 trans isnt the best but it looks like its been gone through and been rebuilt. The quality of the build is also very high. Again good sign that the money was spent in the right places. |
