How does the guide-bracket mount ? There’s a hole for the screw and a “nub” facing upward. Is a hole needed to accommodate that nub on the bracket ?
I assume the nub is to prevent the bracket from misaligning the rod…

I’m missing that bracket (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I'm pretty sure every chassis has the hole /slot that the small bracket/hanger
attaches to....on the top surface of the tunnel near the gas pedal

They do. I put one on. Please note the rubber snubber at the end falls off easily. I need to find a replacement. Probably should be glued on

You are correct there is a hactory hole in the chassis.
