Hi All,
I just attempted to change the ignition switch on my 914. The previous one still worked, but I wanted to change the key. When I installed the new one, the car won't start. The lights will come on, but no power to radio or starter. I plugged the old one in, and the results were the same. I checked the fuses, but don't see any blown ones. Could I have tripped something, or is there something else I need to do?

Thanks for the help.

Chris

You changed the mechanical lock part correct? Pull it out and check to see IF you broke the electrical portion. Center , right side of picture
