I replaced the dim headlights on my 1974 1.8 car, the one that was shown at Porsche Parade Traverse City a few years back.
I went with Cibié halogen which are brighter and semi-original. Over the years I've accumulated some Sylvania sealed beam headlights. I wouldn't drive with them because they are not very bright. Should I toss them or are they important for showing the car? Any value to 914world members?? Thanks, Paul |

IMHO, the lights would be good for a Preservation Class concours, but I’ve looked for one for 914s here in the NE for a few years to no avail. Might be one elsewhere, but I suspect that with the 6s and 2.0Ls, our plain 1.8Ls face an uphill battle. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)
