Pet friendly hotel in the area? Unfortunately, our venue is not pet friendly. Any recommendations for decent pet friendly in the area? We'll come down in my recent 73 Carrera 3.0 GT build, with dog, if we can find a place. My wife even volunteered to hold the dog while driving!
Tomorrow, I'll ask my contact at the venue if he knows of any pet-friendly places.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

@roblav1 Sorry for delay in answering... contact was on vacation (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

His answer: "Try Holiday Inn express across the street, or the River Bend INN around the corner. They can walk from either place. Look at www.mypigeonforge.com. I think on there you can sort by pet friendly hotels."

Hope that helps.

Does not include the 7 914s that will be left back home

Here is an approximation of what the parking lot will look like:

Just finished updating my Garmin so I can cruise back country roads going to Okteenerfest again. I don't like spending any more time on Interstates than necessary, running beside semi's really brings home how tiny our teeners really are! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) When Dad first bought the new teener, Mom hated riding in it, said when she looked out the window all she could see were lug nuts flying by!

What time does the drive start on Friday? Was thinking of visiting my Dad in Hendersonville Thursday, but it is 2 hours from the event.

Hey everyone,

Breaking my heart (again) not to be joining you. Damn COVID. Hope to get down there when borders finally open.

Have a few for me and drive safe. Not in that order (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

May have to break tradition for this drive to make our lunch destination on time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)
Rather than leaving, we will be DRIVING at 9:14 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The Drive is a bit ambitious this year at just over 200 miles total. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Well. Seeing how the 914 is not running well and the 944 just bit the dust on Wednesday night, it looks like we'll be passing on it this year. Hopefully next year.
