Hi all...is there any new info on the new AA or AMC head castings?
I have a 2 liter I'd like to have rebuilt but I'm anticipating that the stock heads will be unusable. That's what happened last time I head an engine rebuilt and it caused quite a scramble to source heads etc. etc.
I know that there are a few places that rework the new castings to make them better but I'm wondering about people's experience with them, and also looking for the knowledge of the World!!!
Thanks
Mike

I used the AA heads. They got the Len Hoffman stamp of approval.

Beware of long lead times on new head build ups. Some are done in batches on and once twice a year basis. Good quality parts is key to long life. Ask what they use they are happy to tell you.

I have both AMC and AA heads on the way, might be 3-4 weeks as I'm waiting on some parts and then they're coming by skid/truck.
