Hi Group,

Another headache which I hope you can solve! The bracket that bolts to the front of the engine that the "crossbar" main engine bearer bolts to, requires 4 self-locking bolts (Understandable given the location!) part number N 014 329 1.

I have a eight or so bolts that size - M8 x 20 - but don't appear to be self-locking, i.e. with plastic insert or somesuch. Are plain bolts plus thread-locking compound adequate or should I be ransacking my storage boxes for the genuine article?

Also the factory parts list doesn't list a washer for the bolt. Is that an oversight?
