okay I'm going to repaint my 914 and I was wondering what would be a nice clean color for it. I like black on it but then once again its going to be a pain to keep clean but maybe not. I also like red but I heard the cops look out for that color. well what do you suggest for me to paint it. the original color of the car now is yellow but is pretty much fading away. Also I'm looking for a good paint shop around pasadena,ca or pretty much in that area if there is any. well please let me know thanks Luke

naaa, well, at least not up here ...

last time i got pulled over in the car was when the wife told me to drive faster (middle of nowhere, sonoma) and of course there's a cop with a radar gun right there ...

thank you so much for all of your replies I would have to say so far I like the arena red that looks bad ass but I'm gonna give it so thought. I was wondering still where to get a good paint job at that is fairly good priced with some good paint. once again thanks

I totally agree with you. Black is beautiful. Yes , high maintainance, but my old Maserati had it and I didn't give a *uck. It just looked awesome..

The other color I really like is
Kinesis rims anodized red. Sick. whole car here
