As the title states ... looking for a '73 original owner's manual in excellent condition. My original manual is kind of toast. Thanks in advance.

Not cheap but here's one. I've purchased from them before - good people. No affiliation.

Hey Kris.

I noticed you are looking for a '73 Owners manual, I bought one from
another 914world member back in '18 when I couldn't find one for my '72.

I paid $70.00USD for it including shipping + $5.00 Paypal fees for
a total of $75USD.

If you are interested in this one I will forward to you for the same amount.

Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. This is my original '73 owner's manual (and what it should look like):

Hey Kris:

By the looks of the manual that I have it may have been the one issued in Europe, it shows the VW Hub caps, the Euro turn signals and the VW Porsche logo throughout.
Maybe someone here on the world can verify that...

Sorry for the confusion.

Cool. Please do. I saw those online. They looked like the “Driver’s Manual” in the previous posts about (gray cover), right?

They claim it's an "owners manual" reprint from a factory original, only differing in a fold out page. Burgundy cover as original

I finally found a nice '73 manual in excellent condition. If anybody wants my old manual, let me know - I would let it go for any reasonable offer (please see pic above - the first couple of pages are very worn in the top right corner).

Got one of those reprints for my 74 1.8. Very nice but not a replication. Missing a few touches that clearly differentiate it from the original. Keep the repro in the car and the original in a safe, dry location with the window sticker, etc.
