A/X was fantastic...It's the ride home to Napa. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif)
Traffic was horrible and I was tired. We're sloooowly motoring over hiway 17 ( super steep and windy, twisty ) and this guy pulls up along side pointing to the trailer. I can talk to him out the window and he says there is a lot of noise coming off the trailer. Wheel bearings he says. Not smoking, but I can see the wheel flopping in the fenderwell. I repacked all the bearings and adjusted them before the long haul to WCC. I pulled over and jacked up the trailer. Left rear bearing ( doulble axle trailer ) was wasted. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) I was looking for a place to leave the trailer so I could drive the car home and have my wife follow me in the truck. Some nieghbors on Bill's street in San Jose let me leave it. I'm going to go deal with it now. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) KT |
