Picked this car up about 7 years ago and am just now getting around to restoring it.
yesterday started to tear the car down for a repaint back to tangerine.

This car is very original (except for the repaint) and it looks to have never been disassembled, most of the hardware is still brilliant gold. The chassis is very clean!

Are you old codgers talking about the Parades at SeaTack and Monterey ?
I was at Seattle !
We drove from NJ and back in a '59 sunroof coupe. Me, my brother Robert and sister Stella.
Three of us in that little coupe !
My other sister Mary with her now 39 year husband in the '69 T that he still has.
I didn't go on the excursion to Monterey....they did.....but I'm a little foggy on that.
Given the times I'm lucky to remember anything.....
