Seattle 30 yrs ago...

yes sir and Monterey CA before that

Are you old codgers talking about the Parades at SeaTack and Monterey ?
I was at Seattle !
We drove from NJ and back in a '59 sunroof coupe. Me, my brother Robert and sister Stella.
Three of us in that little coupe !
My other sister Mary with her now 39 year husband in the '69 T that he still has.
I didn't go on the excursion to Monterey....they did.....but I'm a little foggy on that.
Given the times I'm lucky to remember anything.....

We were referring to the ownership of this six. it was sold from owner in Monterey CA in 1980. and Jeff knew the owner in Seattle WA back in the '90s. I bought it from a guy in OH.

I was able to acquire the original 2L engine in January 2021

Awesome find on the motor!!

How in the world were you able to track down the original engine years after buying the body? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/type.gif)

I check the internet once a week for all my missing engines, I have actually found 5 but unfortunately 1 of them was sold before I could buy it and then it disappeared again.

I'd try to clean those vapor barriers and save them.
Way back in the late '70s they were available from the Stoddard for $22. ea.!!
Love the Blutorange.
Go Glenn !

Is it wrong to like the current color too?

I just don’t have the classy Porsche pedigree (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)
