Just like the title says, I'm in need of a Karo ski rack for my 914 and I'm willing to pay up. If you have a nice one and would prefer to have $1,000 in your pocket please reach out to me. I prefer the buyer to be responsible for boxing and shipping to N.Y.

Thanks!
-Mike

Wow, are these really that hard to come by? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I may need to ponder this...

Thanks Jeff, your car has been such an inspiration to me. I've seen your posts about locating one, and I've been searching since 2020. I figured it's time to bait the line.

i looked for a long time as well, found mine earlier this year, out of Austria. there was another set listed here and sold, i missed it by minutes!, but the seller knew of someone that had a set there, he was able to acquire it for me and ship it over. He also had another set but was not in such good condition. I dont think you'll find a nice set like Cal's or mine for $1k, but i could be wrong, but dont give up hope it just might come up . I know that Mark Whitesell has one and i think eventually they are going to do a run of these, but they have a lot of irons in the fire so dont hold your breath (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) , but maybe reach out to him and see if they are inching closer to this. .
Good luck and Happy hunting!
Phil.

Just a word of thanks to fellow member John Lush, who sold me a PHENOMENALLY nice Karo ski rack. The rack was complete with original hardware, straps, rubber, and even instructions! It was a smooth transaction with no drama. Thanks John!!!

Thanks Dr. Phil, I made the brackets myself. I have to revisit them and make them in steel since the aluminum vibrates too much while driving.

Post a picture of the surfboard up top!
