The alternator died on our 914.It's the original one so I'd like to get it rebuilt rather than buy a reman unit. Anyone have a recommendation for the San Diego area?

I have a good shop that rebuildsthem and i have several cores. Can get one done for $125 no core required, plus shipping. I may gave one on the shelf.

I’ve used Richer Auto & Truck Electric Co. But it’s a bit far from you in Oceanside. Rebuild last year cost $136.24 total. Their phone number is 760-757-1202 if you’re interested.

Thanks, I'll let you know. The FI pressure sensor I got from you years back is still going strong.
