So I just found out that PANO will be mailed late this month and next. Printer issues.
Anyway, my white 914-6 Test Mule has 10 pages of coverage in the November issue starting on page 88. The article was written last January and the photo shoot was at Amelia Island in May. The November Pano can be viewed online now on the PCA website If anyone is interested I have a a few more detailed photos that didn't get used in Pano that I could post and answer questions. Enjoy Steve |

I just read the article. Really cool car. It looks great. The factory front 916 bumper looks amazing compared to the aftermarket reproductions.

The factory front 916 bumper looks amazing compared to the aftermarket reproductions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) I really wish someone would make an actual repro of the original 916 front/rear bumpers. Every single aftermarket one i have seen looks like shite, and that includes the ones on my car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |

How would one make an actual reproduction? Where are the original molds? With Porsche and therefor untouchable or long destroyed? Is there an original set of 916 bumpers sitting in someone's garage? Who with a 916 would allow their bumpers to be removed and used for mold making? If made, how much would one cost and how many would be sold? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |
