So I started the day to fix the boys wipers. (He was busy R&Ring a alt on a buddys car). Try to see under the dash on the 70, but where Porsche decided to put the switch it was imposible to work on it. So I pulled it out. Turns out all that was wrong was a power wire wasn't making contact. Cleaned all the contacts, re crimped the wire ends and spent a hour cursing to put the switch back in.

Now the fun part....the rubber part of the switch had come apart from the plasitc disc that screws on so you can turn the wipers on and off. I first tryed epoxy, but it dosen't stick well to rubber. First time I tryed it it became two pieces again. So off to the local harware store.

poor picture quality, but this is what the switch looked like after trying epoxy.
