It was bequeathed to the PO, and he bequeathed it to me. When I'm done with it, you can have it to pass on, too. Really These things do better in CA anyway, that's where it came from. |

That is a CD weight.
Keeps CD's from flying away when your top is off your car. |

Tee hee.. The floating flywheel lock!
It'd be kinda cool to have a thread listing current holders of unusual tools that have gained "floating" status. Once I'm done with my shift fork alignment tool (hacked out of an old case) I'd put it up for floating. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) |

[QUOTE] (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) How about that thing you center the clutch with? The input shaft off my old Toyota tranny is about three times too big! |

Good idea. I just use an old input shaft. I might have one that's damaged, I could cut off the important part and get it flaoting. You need one?

I couldn't begin to list the stuff this car needs.
Everything, it's getting really expensive! Except door handles!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) Thanks, Paul. |
