Well been a long hot day under the shade tree jacked up the car, put jack stands on all 4 jack points, had to grind the screws off the rocker panles except for one, will either need to get new ones for those or restoration design to get new ones, on the LH Long only the jack post and brace will need to be replaced looks real good, has the factory a/c hoses that has been chopped off going to try to find those the a/c , and condencer for the front trunk and the a/c for the inside, I have the compressor and it engauges fine. the long outer and from What i can see the inside NO rust at all will have to replace the top self had rust there will replace that and the jack brace and insert...... but the drivers's side well it was worse than the Lh side. the whole jack brace and tube gone the brace to the left of that was rusted through on the left hand side of the brace up and down I think i can cut that out and weld another piece in, the inner as far as i can see with flashlifgt is clean no rust (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) again the top self that holds the thresh hold plates will not have to replaced the longs are good and by the way the suspension console has no rust clean as a whistel on both sides..... I bought the pnumatic saw saw from HF but my 8 gal air compressor not stout enough so I used the air hammer from HF took the battery tray assy out in 5 min, but will use the air cutter from HF to cut the fire wall and weld back in, was really worried about the longs after seeing this it is fixable (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sawzall-smiley.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/welder.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sawzall-smiley.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/welder.gif) then POR 15 engine bay where do i fine por15 the long under battery tray very strong could not punch hole through it with all my strength right hand tomma hawk punch with flat head screw driver.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) the hooses from the charcole cannister were not connedted at all as you can see in the pic's that was useless to connect up in the engine bay... any comments (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) .......
