So, I have a bunch of the factory electrical wire hold down tabs, which are interspersed throughout the car such as to leave no fingers without scars.

But, what are they really? And, more importantly, are the little plastic covers still available? What are they called? What diameter are they? I want to get some new ones.

Oops. Can't find the photos.

https://914rubber.com/covering-for-cable-holder-1

"This is the covering that goes over the metal tabs that hold in the wiring harness. These should be soft but over the last 40+ years they ave become hard and may be missing or painted over. This is sold by the foot and you trim them to install.

Used for all 914 model years, 11' recommended per car."
