I believe this tin came with a pile of other parts when I bought my 74 2.0 a few years back. But assuming it's a Porsche part, I'm not sure where it goes. Any ideas?

Its a cover plate for the center tunnel in the car. If you remove the center cushion/armrest, there's a small access hole near the firewall and this plate covers that hole.

It's a 914 part. Goes between the seats, under the center console/arm rest by the firewall.

Thanks! Now I have to see if it's missing (i.e., I didn't put it back) or it's just a spare.
