I used dzues fasteners for a firewall access when we did the engine in my 2nd 914-6 back in 1985. Used a nice weatherstrip and it looked really nice when done. 10 fasteners total. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I’wish it felt that way brother! That new Porsche case really was a hold up given the recall/warranty campaign. But the end is basically in sight. Have some final tweaks and the car will be track worthy.

So have it roughed in now. Need to add a finishing edge weatherstripping I think and get the backside straps installed. Will carpet this and the back pad for a nice finished presentation later.

Shop is likely to have the car for about two weeks based on scheduling as they are super busy. They happen to have two 914s they are now one which is being converted to a six and the other is getting a GT conversion as a real 914-6. Definitely looking forward to the finish line.

Solved my picture issue!

Just a heads up. Planning on selling in the very near future as I just will not have the time to really use the car as intended and I have other priorities beckoning. I have truly enjoyed bringing the car up to a good standard and one that makes the car enjoyable immediately for whomever takes over. Will be posting a formal ad here first for those that may be interested, then likely over to BAT. Here first of course because this is the best community online in the world imho.

They make a bent one, but as I got these in march they won’t take a return. They want $300 a pair. I can mod this to be bent.

Got both seats in minus one headrest. Getting covers done for them in vinyl to see if I like that more.
