Reminds me of the days when 356s were going up in value and we'd see "barn find" rust piles for sale at silly prices.

"In" before the first "I have the VIN plates and the title" ads.

They wouldn't have made a 473 car in 1974. They made 474 and 475 cars in 1974. More likely a typo that has propagated than a misread build date sticker.

I loved those days, this pic was taken in my yard in 2015. Look close, you can see a 914.
