IF you are considering buying a rebuilt -4 alternator now might be the time to get one. Lots of listings, then when you go to order they are NLA. Bosch prices are off the hook with a core charge $150 on average. Local rebuilder may be the way you have to go.

I have been using Alternators Unlimited in Berkeley, CA for years with good results. Have a couple cores and am happy to handle logistics if anyone needs one done up.
