A headlight went out. When I removed the plastic casing around to replace it, I noticed how beat it was. The black paint was flaking off. I've brushed/washed off the paint that easily comes off. Does anyone have any pointers about re-blacking it? Should I try to get all or the old paint off [if so, how]? Or, just paint over it with a few coats [or should I use a primer]? And what paint do your recommend? [I don't think the left-over POR-15 I have is the right stuff.]
Thanks.
