I am stripping down front Boge struts. This has the fuc#$ing O-ring around the cartridge that you can't find the first time you tear one down. I removed the cartridge and drained the hydraulic fluid. Did the hydraulic fluid used in the struts have a high sulphur content? This stuff smells nasty in small amounts.
