It's all in the details. Such nice engineering, fabrication, explanation, documentation, and presentation. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Man oh man, that wiring is just next-world stuff. I liked the Summit Racing tip for the steering column clamshell as those are a must have item. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

1. This wiring build is turning into quite the learning experience.
2. I shouldn't try to focus on more than one build at a time.

Anyone else’s head hurt. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I’ve got to hand it to you, Chris, I would have found that after the smoke and pyrotechnics.

Exemplary work as always Chris. Stock dash switch schematics are attached if they help you.

I didn't hear you mention the windshield washer pump in the front trunk.
The headlight flash could be rerouted to the foglights if installed. Or a switch installed to sense headlight position.
I am also working on a relay pack for the ventilation controls to remove the current from the sliding switch that tends to melt the contacts; there I assume you will use the switch positions for signals to the power management unit.

@davep - Try as I might, I always forget to mention something. Yes, there is a squirt circuit and yes, I've already updated the ECU programming to look at a condition that says: If I ask for high beam (on or flash) when the headlights are on, do what I ask. But if the head lights are off, flash the fog/driving lights.
I'm still working out if I want to run the factory controls for the blower fan and air directional controls or "get fancy" and simplify the dash. But if I do keep the controls, then all I do is run signal ground to the ground spade and three input wires to the output spades. When those inputs go to ground, the ECU tells the power mgmt system to send 12v to wherever it should. All power to the blower motor is via separate circuits from signal so, as with all the other switches, I have no 12v to anything but the load.
If I get real fancy controlling the blower, I can run power to the hi position only and use PWM to drive the fan speed through a knob that operates an electronic speed control unit. Infinitely variable fan speed!
So many decisions...

Great video and nice progress. Very cool that Speed Hut is making Porsch-look gauges. Another option for custom builds. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Another one for the "because I can" column. With a bit of tweaking (and a bit left to go), we have cruise control controls! This is a lightly modified 911 SC cruise control switch that bolts to existing mounting points on the wiper switch.
I chopped off the end of the stalk and clearanced a space in the column cover.
Summit Racing and URO to the rescue with that matching lever end!
I'm still playing with the up/down ergonomics. But if you ask me, once I tidy up where the lever end meets the stalk, it'll almost pass for factory.

As with a lot of what I spend my time on: will this help get the car running? No.
Am I doing it anyway? Yes. Yes, I am. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

The 911 steering column fits the car better than my Subaru column fits...it's keeping the stalks that tempted me!
