I hope to save a potential 914world buyer some hassle. I paid for the 4 green tops with my credit card yesterday. Then I received this message early this morning:

"HI,
The individual has been delaying the purchase of these injectors for awhile, would you be interested in them for an additional $65, let me know

Thanks

Paul"

Looks like the 'ol bait & switch. I've given the seller 24 hours to refund me or I'll dispute the transaction with my credit card company.

Hello Bob,

Sorry your so distraught about the transaction, I became a member in 2017 in good standing and have posted and transacted many times without incident. There appears to be a glitch in the site that shows me with Zero posts, regardless of how many times I post. My information as stated is readily available just a few click within the site.

I had receive two private messages from you regarding two different sets of 2.0 injectors, the first PM was for the lessor dollar amount and the second PM for a higher dollar amount, which had already sold. Obviously by your private messages you were interested in other options and subsequently my offer for the third set of 2.0 injectors. The third offer was never proposed as a bait and switch, it was offered only because of your interest to multiple sets.

The offer of the third set was predicated upon a stalled purchaser, of whom I had emailed earlier. I had received notice late that night that he was still going thru with the transaction. Given that information I processed your order which you should receive in a few days.

The friction placed upon me being called a scammer by 914 Guru and the follow up post by DC_neun_vierzehn saying that I had zero posts were lies, if only they did some research prior to there claims all of this could have been circumvented.

It's not a "glitch". We purposely do *not* count any posts in the classified sub-forums against your post count.

The OP has been a member since 2017 but he has only posted in the classifieds, hence his 0 post count. His real post count is 13.

I also got the same PM addressed to Bob. In addition to another one from @6er requesting I retract my fishy comment in light of @SirAndy clarification on post count.

So in light of the post count clarification and the fact that it seems there is a lot more going on here, I retract my "fishy" comment and will just say this was a good price for 2.0 injectors.

I receieved 4 green top injectors from the seller on Monday.

I just spoke with him over the phone - nice guy. I do not think there was any intent to deceive anyone or rip anyone off. The transaction just got a little confusing because he had multiple sets of injectors for sale.
