Saw this in a listing for an old Devin body shell here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/185466183994?hash=...yoAAOSwdUtipoqs

Interesting setup. Does anyone know if this application was a "thing" back then?

I had a brief look at the sand rail as I bought a 914 off the seller a few weeks ago. It was mostly covered up but I did talk to him about it. He called it his "914 sand rail". It's got 914 front suspension, rack and pinion, made to bolt a type 4 motor and 914 transaxle. He offered it to me for free, just trying to get rid of stuff... if I had the space I'd have taken him up on it lol

We bought a sand rail with a six engine. It hung on the wall for a while and then was given away. Just purchased for the mfi engine.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I remember a picture of John Williamson driving around on chassis with a P six in it.

I got caught up in the videos of guys buying beater Vettes, removing all of the plastic, caging them and installing peppy engines. 'Corvette Carts' on YouTube. A street legal one would be fun.
