There is no correct one since no 914 ever came with one.

When i had my carbed 2056, i ran a CB Performance rotary pump which was much, much quieter.

I think Facet pumps were outlawed under the Geneva Convention against torture. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

@sirandy - that's where I was going with that, this is probably the best pump to run whether you are in a 4 or a 6 and have carbs.

I agree with the others on fuel pumps- I have the same on my carbed 1.9l, but I do have a Facet pump you can have for the cost of shipping, if you’re just trying to get it running.

The Facet I have will only work for carbs, by the way. FI needs much higher pressure and a return line.

Remember to purchase a fuel pressure regulator when you buy the facet. Figure out a way to isolate the pump if mounted on a metal surface. The rattling is very annoying.

In my humble opinion, best to run a rotary pump, a fuel pressure regulator (I used the one from PMO) and a return line. I did this with a dual carb set-up (40 IDF)

Definitely the rotary pump as mentioned, and a fuel regulator.

(and we don't need another 10 page thread carbs vs FI)
