I just tried all (3) you listed. Perhaps my ignorance, but all of the sites only listed year models 1984 or newer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)
Looking a little more, if I was a Porsche part number maven I could better utilize the sites (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

You have to call in most cases. When you put in a 914 part number you get a stupid amount of parts that have NOTHING to do with 914. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

I've used Sunset many times and always a good experience. I've had good luck plugging part numbers into the search box.

Have used a couple of these sources and try to share them when I find things. Thanks for sharing and it is nice to see that these dealers are starting to recognize the renewed interest in our 914 gems.

https://www.suncoastparts.com/ Is the OG for as far back as I have owned Porsches. But for getting specific part numbers sometimes you have to call them.
https://parts.porscheofannapolis.com/ has invested in the online parts sales at steep discounts too, plus they have the PET search function. |

I use DelawarePorscheParts.com for large and small parts. I have the advantage that they are a couple miles down the road so it’s easy for me to pick up parts in person. And they have good snacks in the lounge area. They are a real Porsche dealership but sell at a discount on their site. Don’t use spaces in the search.

I have heard good things on Sunset and Gaudin. Quick note make sure you clarify the delivery. Sometimes you will save a few dollars but have to wait weeks vs ordering somewhere like Pelican that has a lot of stuff in stock. |

Sometimes you will save a few dollars but have to wait weeks vs ordering somewhere like Pelican that has a lot of stuff in stock. I once ordered from Sunset Porsche and it took weeks. They did keep me in touch and I wasn’t in a rush. I used to purchase a lot of parts from Delaware Porsche when I worked at the private Porsche shop. They would often piggyback my order on an overnight order but not charge me for shipping. It’s helpful to have a “relationship” with a parts supplier. It can often be more worthwhile than just a low price. |

I just bought a 993 fan from Sunset. It was in stock, over a $100.00 cheaper than everywhere else and I received it in a couple of days.

Got a box from Suncoast today. Needed some parts for my 964 that had to come from Germany. Good service. They called and let me know they would have to order parts from Germany and it would be several weeks. Asked did I still want the parts. Followed up with multiple emails letting me know parts were in, then shipped, tracking number etc.

Looking at the web interface it seems more of "give us your contct info and tell us what you want and we'll get back to you" rather than a searchable online store. Whats been your experience? |

Maybe add links to the PET also? They were difficult to find in the various threads.
