My baby was stolen this last weekend. Stolen from Autowerkes Porsche in Huntington Beach Ca. It looks like the car was targeted as other cars were broken into to move them to get to my car. I am heartbroken. As many of the long time members know my car is an over the top GT resto-mod and a multi year thread exists here on the World as testament.

Hey guys thanks for all the love.
Update I spoke this morning with Bruce Powers owner of Autowerkes, he is gutted over this. They have never had a car stolen from them before so this is new territory. Bruce was able to find the footage of the crime, images are not clear BUT he is reaching out to all his neighbors on the street for them to review their security footage. Here is what we know: at approx 1am Sunday morning someone broke into the yard by breaking the lock on their rolling gate and opening it. Perp can be seen moving 2 other cars to get to mine, only my car was stolen. They were able to get my car started and turn on the lights, however I don't have the headlight motors (have GT gas strut kit) so you can see on the security footage that the headlights are on but lights are not popped up, they then drove out of frame. Here is the odd bit it appears that the perp came back Sunday evening at about 9:45pm to roll the gate closed. Weird. |
