It was pointed out to me at the RRC my key direction was incorrect. I installed horizontal = unlocked and vertical = locked. Is that right or should it be the other way around?

was it diss & reassembled? My recollection is that the lock body is "keyed" to a notch on the sheet metal so if never monkeyed with should be orientated as intended?

It was missing the spring and I replaced it but couldn't remember which way it went. I had it the other way then changed it after I was told it was wrong. Now I'm told it's wrong again. So just wondering which way it came from the factory. |
