What color were 914-6 valve covers originally? Or as Porsche would have you call it: Lid for Camshaft housing Upper
I have seen at least 3 variations on cars the claim to be "original".
What we took off our car appeared to be magnesium and originally all black. One of them has a chip on the sealing edge, so I'm replacing them.  What you get from Stoddard for example, I think is aluminum and what I'll call natural or uncoated.  Photo credit Stoddard |
