Good running 1979 SC 3.0 engine. #930/06. Strong oil pressure. Great leak down. Solid head studs. Unknown history or mileage but we believe it's had at least a top end due to the great leak down and no corrosion on the ends of the head studs. $15,500 buys it and I can assist with shipping if needed. Email - Mark@MarkEpstein.net to purchase.

Personally I probably would trade for yours if I wanted a great engine for a 914 but the engine is only part mine and selling it is our first choice. |

$14,995 + free shipping '78-'79 make good 3.2 "Max Moritz" (3.2SS) motors. They have the big runners. + Euro-spec fuel distributor and it will haul the mail! I always felt they "breathed" better than the later siblings. Good luck. Just finished a 3.2-3.4 conversion otherwise..... |

But this is a good runner so I would use it as-is. |

Agree - I would throw this in and run it as is with no concerns for the next 50k. The last one I bought from Mark is still running strong. If I knew I could get 15k for my 2.4 I'd do a swap.
