I am working with a company to develop new EV14 injectors that will work for 2.0L engines. They already have the setup made just not the correct injector. Sending NOS injectors for them to evaluate so they can finish kit. Stole picture to show design elements. Silver adapters have been eliminated and new grooved O rings fitted, along with new rail design. Just an idea of set up.
Projected cost under $500.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) interesting.

Always impressed with the ingenuity of the community to come up with solutions to the NLA parts situation! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

Can’t wait to see the finished product!

I know a couple people are using injectors from them.

Cool!

Which ones? Chevy, Ford or Jeep based? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

Seriously.

@914sixer
You may have a interference problem on the passenger side to the MAP sensor. I know the fuel rail with the test port will hit the NAP sensor.
What advantage will these have over the SMP injectors that are available for 2.0s ?

D-jet compatible injectors or not this would still be beneficial for anyone running aftermarket injection as the selection of new high impedance injectors that are compatible with the stock 914 fuel rails is really REALLY small.

If you produce these I would be in for a set, if not multiple sets.

I think the angle of the picture is deceiving. The fuel rail port hits the MPS because the injector hoses turn up 90 degrees, this setup looks to be straight out from the injector ports so may not be an issue.

Very attractive setup. Looks like it would remove all the difficult angle and seal issues with the old design and the cranky rails.

That foto looks like the Injector-Rehab system currently being sold for VW Bay Window Buses, VW Vanagons, and Porsche 914s. Here is the link:https://injector-rehab.com/product/complete-fuel-rail-system-for-type-4-vw-bus-injectors-included/
