Up for sale is a 1974 2.0L. I picked this car up last year and spent a great deal of time and effort to get it back on the road but now my priorities have shifted so its up for sale.

Believed to be original NM car, got sideswiped in 1978 and had been sitting in a garage until I purchased it and had it shipped to NC.

In my journey to get this car on the road I went through the entire brake system, installed rebuilt calipers on all four corners, new soft lines, new master cylinder, and pedal cluster by Bruce. The rear of the car also has new 100lbs springs and boge replica shocks.

The motor has a top-end rebuild. The heads have been refurbished with SS valves and new hardware. The piston and cylinders were honed and re-ringed. The factory fuel injection was retained but with new injectors, refurbished cold start injector, all new seals and hoses, fuel lines, fuel pump and CHT sensor. The engine tin was powder coated in semi-gloss black. The ignition system is a 123Ignition Distributor with Bosch blue coil and new wires. The transmission has been refurbished with all new seals and gaskets. New clutch disk. Shift bushings have been replaced and upgraded to a bronze bushing at the shift console and a tangerine racing firewall bushing. The exhaust is original and was blasted to bare metal and painted. Parts of the heater system were all powder coated and the system functions as it should. Alternator and Starter were both rebuilt.

For the body, the original battery tray was replaced and the area repainted. The area underneath the tray is original and has had no repairs. The only rust currently on the car is in the rear trunk. It will need to be replaced. And for the most obvious defect on the car is the side-swipe damage on the driver's side. The damage appears to be limited to the two fenders and not structural. My plan was to try and save at least one of the fenders but replacing both might be easier.

Overall the car is still very original. It is still a project as there are many things that can be done to improve the car. The good news is that any additional work can be completed while the car is drivable. I have more pictures of the car for those interested. Asking $10K but that's open to discussion and offers.
