Hell of a project
Clean body
Rolling shell


I plan to do a V8 swap and pickup a motor/transaxle setup style out of a sand car.

I am on a tight budget

Welcome. I have a rather complete fresh 215 c.i. (0.030 over) aluminum Buick V8 conversion package that might interest you. I also have a 1975 stock L-Jet 1.8 liter Type IV and a side shift 901 that could work in your build if you decide to go down a different path. Not sand rail stuff but the V8 might put out 240+ Hp and weigh less than 50 lb more than the Type IV. I'm sure you will enjoy the 914 addiction, as we all do.
