I’m replacing my throttle cable
The aux return spring does not line up straight and I’m guessing is a PO decision

What are s a factory location/routing for the stock return spring?
It may be time to find one and put this back the right way

My spring is similar but on a 2.0
TB. Where your is straight

Mine is not. Due to the upright TB

Anyone able to share a 2.0 set up?

Thanks again!

Another case of a previous "mechanic", it's a miracle any of our machines run after a 1/2 century of backyard guys fooling around where they shouldn't.

Everything I touch on mine I have to re-learn what is the correct way. I think what I have is correct until I see pictures of the way it should be. Always interesting.

That pic was from a 74' that I sold last year. I can't confirm that everything is 100% stock, but that's how it looked after I cleaned everything up & reinstalled.
